La gauche d'anthologie a fait honneur à sa réputation et d'entrée de jeu, les brésiliens ont donné le ton. |

| Spectacle et facilité. Presque jusqu'au bout puisque Jojo Olivenca (Brz)a terminé second de l'épreuve derrière Jeff BOOTH (USA), impressionant de regularité.De bonnes retrouvailles pour l'américain qui s'était déjà illustré à l'occasion de la première édition du St Leu Surf Festival en remportant l'épreuve WCT.Pour terminer la fête en apothéose, le SAINT LEU RIP CURL PRO (WCT) a accueilli la bataille des "Top" pour consacrer Kelly Slater (USA) et inscrire définitivement,si besoin était, St Leu, sa Gauche et l'île de la Réunion toute entière comme une étape essentielle du Surf mondial. |
